Digital Alchemy has made great progress in the past several years with our interfaces to Property Management Systems. If you are changing Property Management Systems or coming on board with DA’s services, we can certainly help you! Our interfaces allow us to retrieve guest reservation information straight from the PMS, to compile our eye-catching Reservation Confirmation emails.

Some helpful information to keep in mind when changing Property Management Systems:

    • We prefer 4-6 weeks advance notice to prepare for the conversion.
    • A migration fee may apply from DA as well as your new PMS vendor.
    • A new interface computer may be required or reconfiguration of DA software.

A major leap in recent technology has been the introduction of virtual computing. Virtual computing allows several “machines” to run on a single server, and each VM (virtual machine) functions as if it’s a standalone computer. Benefits include reduced power consumption, better maintenance capability, and overall security. Digital Alchemy uses VMs extensively in our Data Center. Our interface software functions perfectly in virtual environments, no matter the PMS. Ask your IT department if they are using VMs. We’ll be happy to assist in migrating our installation to a VM.
