Web Developer

Our highly innovative development firm is looking for a software developer in the north Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success developing and maintaining ASP-based applications with some ASP.NET or VB.NET exposure.

Digital Alchemy (http://www.data2gold.com/) is small company with a big presence in the Hospitality Industry providing e-mail marketing and Customer Relationship Management services. We are growing fast and are looking for the right person to join our team. Our customers include some of the finest resorts in the world and we're working to expand into additional markets. We strive to make our workplace fun and the work is always interesting.

We are located in north Fort Worth, Texas near the intersection of I-35W and I-820. Only local applicants and residents will be interviewed. This position is not open to recruiters, sponsorships, or telecommuting. This is an intermediate to advanced programming position. No graphic designers or network administrators will be considered.

To qualify for this position, you must have recent and strong experience developing Web-based solutions using the following technologies:

• VBScript and JavaScript in classic ASP environments  
• ASP or Visual Basic using .NET 2.0  
• SQL Server stored procedures and user-defined functions  
• The Document Object Model  
• HTML, CSS, XML, and MIME encoding  
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 

Qualifying candidates must also be able to:  
 
• Quickly produce functional prototypes  
• Work well in a team environment  
• Follow standards and adopt proprietary methodologies  
• Communicate frequently and effectively  
• Read, write, and speak fluent English

Initial salary is negotiable and will be based on experience. You must be able to interview in person, and demonstrate recent accomplishments. This position involves working with patented and patent-pending technology. You must be willing to sign a confidentiality and non-compete agreement upon hire.
